Description

Baked Cinnamon Apples - perfectly tender apples swimming in a sticky sweet cinnamon sauce. This dump-and-bake recipe could not be easier!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 honeycrisp apples, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons butter, cut into about 10 squares

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Add the apples right into your 9x13 baking dish and toss them with the sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and lemon juice until they are evenly coated. Arrange the butter evenly on top of the apples.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking until golden and tender, about 10-15 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Apples: you can also use fuji, gala, jonathan, braeburn, and pink lady apples with great success! Use all one variety of a mix of several.
