Description
Ultra creamy Everything Bagel Hummus is perfectly seasoned with garlic, lemon, and lots of bagel seasoning! A healthy homemade snack!
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup runny tahini
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 1/4 cup olive oil, plus more for topping
- 1/4 cup water, more to desired consistency
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 (14) oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 tablespoons everything but the bagel seasoning, plus more for topping
Instructions
Add the lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, water and garlic to a food processor fitted with the S blade. Process until smooth with no visible pieces of garlic, about 2 minutes. Scrape the bottom, tahini tends to get stuck there, and process again.
Add in the salt, cumin, and chickpeas. Process until super smooth and creamy, about 4-5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
Add in 1 tablespoon of the everything but the bagel seasoning and pulse to mix. Serve topped with olive oil and more seasoning!
Notes
Chickpeas: you can also use 1 1/2 cups home cooked chickpeas. I like to make these Instant Pot Chickpeas.
Water: I usually end up adding an additional 2 tablespoons of water.
