Description
This easy recipe for homemade rosewater uses just 2 ingredients and takes 20 minutes! Use this rosewater toner as a facial mist to reduce redness, acne, and unclog pores.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 roses, petals removed
- 2 cups filtered water
Instructions
- Add the water into a medium saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Add in the rose petals, cover and simmer until they become pale in color. Remove from the heat and strain to remove the petals. Discard the petals and set aside your homemade rosewater to cool. Once cool, transfer to a mister bottle. Store in the fridge for several weeks.
Notes
- To avoid spritzing pesticides on your face, opt for organic roses.
- If you buy your roses by the dozen, you can easily make a double batch! Store the extra batch in the freezer until you are ready to use.
