Honey Matcha Almond Milk is a 3 ingredient big batch recipe that will make your morning routine easier. Make this drink on Sunday, and reheat it on busy weekday mornings for a quick and effortless, naturally sweetened, paleo, and vegan matcha latte.
- 1 cup blanched almonds, soaked overnight
- 4 cups water
- 4 teaspoons matcha tea
- 1–2 tablespoons honey
- Drain the soaked almonds and add them to the blender with 2 cups of the water. Blend on high until creamy and the almonds are a pulp. Pour it into a milk bag and squeeze out the liquid.
- Discard the pulp and rinse out the blender. Return the almond milk liquid to the blender. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge.
- When the craving for a matcha latte strikes, heat the milk over medium until hot or pour over ice and serve.
If you don’t want to make your own almond milk, use 4 cups of your favorite store-bought brand.
