This simple 2 ingredient Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner will help to detox your skin! It benefits dry, oily, and acne prone skin types, and will leave you with a cleaner, clearer hydrated complexion.
I see you, girl.
You are busy crushing work, living life, and have been eyeing natural beauty for a while now. But it is intimidating, and expensive, and all the homemade versions take three days and yield sub par results.
This Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner was a game-changer in natural beauty for me. It is safe, effective, and making it won't eat up your entire afternoon. It works no matter what your skin type is - oily? dry? sensitive? acne prone? combo? - Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner has you covered.
The rose water we made a few weeks ago is the foundation of this Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner. It is the perfect hydrating, toning, and soothing base for our toner. Rosewater is a facial multi tasker and benefits every skin tone. Whether you are on the dry side, oily, or are looking to combat acne of the occasional zit, rose water is your pal. Making rose water is pretty simple, but if you want to make this Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner a 1 minute DIY, you can pick some rose water up online or at your local health food store.
Then we add one of my favorite skincare ingredients: activated charcoal. You've seen it here before, and you'll likely see it again. I have even tried to get you to drink it twice (exhibit A & B). And if you're not ready to jump two feet into drinking black liquids, this Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner is the place to start.
Activated charcoal is showing up in the skin care isle right and left. Despite its black appearance, it actually leaves our skin cleaner than when it found it. It draws toxins, bacteria - which can cause acne, dirt, and chemicals out of the skin. It helps to keep out pores clean and clear.
I like to use this Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner right after a good sweat session. I blast my face with a few pumps of this chilled tonic and immediately feel refreshed. Gyms are dirty places, so it also helps to get rid of any bacteria that may have found its way to my skin after a workout, to keep it clean and even-toned.
You can also use this Homemade Charcoal Facial Toner morning and night after washing your face. It will help balance your skin's PH, and prep it for makeup, or a good nights sleep. Despite its dark charcoal color, I promise it won't leave any color on your face - just nourish your skin with loads of benefits.
Don't fear the black.
