The sun is out, the weather is brisk, but warming, and we are ready to rock some fresh glowing skin! Only one problem, that winter dryness is clinging on.

This happens to me every spring. I am ready to shed my heavy winter moisturizer in favor of lighter products, but with the new sun exposure, the spring wind, and the fact that I still have to run my heater occasionally means that dryyyyyy skin can hold on.

That is when I love switching to this Hydrating Face Serum for Oily Skin. It is ultra hydrating, lightweight, and gives us that dewy spring glow. #winning

The ingredients in this recipe couldn't be better.

Jojoba oil functions as the base of this serum. It is the queen of facial oils and can actually work on oily skin types. Jojoba is very close to our natural skin oils and the body treats it the same way. If one section of your skin is extra dry, but another is moist and not in need of hydration, the jojoba oil will travel from the hydrated skin to the dry skin and balance out your complexion naturally. And it won't clog pores. Pure magic.

Next we add in some pomegranate seed oil. Pomegranate seed oil is pressed from the tiny seeds inside the pomegranate fruit and contains a huge supply of antioxidants. These antioxidants have natural anti-aging properties that will keep your skin looking fresh!

Next come the essential oils. The ones I used in this recipe are for oily skin, because that is what ails me. I used a combination of frankincense, lavender , tea tree, and geranium. Not only do these oils make this serum smell AMAZING, they help moisturize my oily skin and minimize problems like excess oil and clogged pores.

To make this serum all you have to do is measure out your ingredients into a dropper bottle and then screw on the lid and give it a shake. Then you are ready for a hit of this Hydrating Face Serum for Oily Skin whenever your skin is calling for some help.

To use the serum, squeeze 2-3 drops into the palm of your hand. Rum your hands together to warm the serum and then pat it into your face. No rubbing, just press your palms onto your forehead, cheeks, and chin. You won't need much of this potent stuff, just a thin layer will hydrate your skin.

How often you need this moisturizer will depend on your own skin. I get away with use every other day because my skin is naturally very hydrated, but if you have dry patches, you might use it daily or even twice a day - morning and night - to get that dewy glow.
