Peanut Butter Crunch Bars are a creamy, crispy, crunchy sweet treat that is healthy enough to enjoy as a snack! These gluten free bars are naturally sweetened and couldn't be easier to make.
Creamy, and crispy, and crunchy, OH MY!
These Peanut Butter Crunch Bars are nutty, sweet, and chocolat-y. But what makes these bars the star of the show are the layers and layers of texture. The combo of peanut butter and honey makes them melt-in-your-mouth creamy. And not the peanut butter sticky kind of creamy, but a like really good piece of fudge melt-in-your-mouth creamy. The peanuts are crunchy while the puffed rice is crispy. And then the chocolate melts in your mouth and adds sweet pools of rich luscious chocolate.
Sorry for the pause. I had to get up and eat one of these Peanut Butter Crunch Bars STAT.

The most important choice when making your Peanut Butter Crunch Bars is 1) making them this very moment so you can be eating them very very soon, and 2) choosing the right peanut butter to use in this recipe.
You need a good creamy peanut butter. Not a natural peanut butter that is passing for creamy, but is actually very very grainy, but a true smooth and creamy peanut butter. It can be difficult to find both creamy and natural together in one jar, but I usually reach for Trader Joe's Organic Creamy Peanut Butter or Spread The Love PB
.
Your peanut butter texture will dictate the texture of your Peanut Butter Crunch Bars, and grainy peanut butter means grainy bars. And grainy bars are not creamy bars. And creamy bars are EVERYTHING here.
The final and very important piece of our Peanut Butter Crunch Bars puzzle is peanut flour. Also known as powdered peanut butter. This ingredient helps the Peanut Butter Crunch Bars thicken up to sliceable bar consistancy without adding any strange flavors or weird textures. Lucky for us, most grocery stores now cary this powdered PB and it can easily be found online.

Could you make this with regular flour instead of peanut flour?
Hi Jenn, Great question! The bars would not turn out with regular flour. Let me know if you have any more questions :)
