Post Update: If you are on a cell phone or mobile device, you can only receive the special offer on the Skillshare website, not through the app. When asked if you want to download the app, say no and continue to the website. The offer will be in a bright blue bar at the top of your screen.
Hello friends! I have an exciting announcement to make today, and I hope you love love love it. This month, I partnered with Skillshare to create RECIPE VIDEOS!
This video class is for all my people who want to dive headfirst into a big bowl of mac and cheese. I am with you! The videos are all about our favorite comfort foods, but made healthy. These recipes are my go-to for when I am trying to sneak in more veggies and eat a healthier diet without compromising on flavor. Because we NEVER compromise on flavor. All of the recipes are easy to make, feature whole food ingredients, and are allergy friendly.
On the menu we have, the creamiest dreamiest Mac & Cheese, a hearty and filling Vegetable Pot Pie, a Mint Chip MILKSHAKE, Gluten-free Waffles with fluffy interiors and crispy edges prime for collecting maple syrup, and my favorite of them all, Triple Chocolate Brownies.
In addition to housing my videos, Skillshare is an online learning platform where teachers, who are the best in their field, get in front of the camera to teach video classes and spread their valuable knowledge. They have over 1 million students enrolled in their classes, soaking up all that knowledge. Most of their teachers come from "doing" whatever they are teaching, so we can learn their exact secrets to success!
Skillshare has a huge variety of classes - everything from business and technology to crafts and culinary. So, whatever your thang is, they have you covered.
Plus, Skillshare is offering a special discount to Catching Seeds readers! If you follow this link (or any of the links on the page), you get three months of Skillshare for $1. That is just 100 little pennies for three months of unlimited learning.
After Skillshare contacted me about being a teacher and before filming my own classes, the very first thing I did was get an account of my own to check out the platform. And I report that I could not be happier! So far I have learned how to brew the perfect cup of coffee (pour over FTW). I took a class teaching me how to make my own chocolate bars at home, from whole beans to finished bar (dangerous, dangerous for us chocolate lovers out there), and I even learned about email marketing from a Mailchimp executive. Executive! I am telling you, this information is from the top crust. These people know what they are talking about.
And finally, the real reason you will want a membership. You get to see the many embarrassing faces of Laurel Cornwell captured on camera for all of eternity. Some prime examples include:
The Moment I Realized I Overflowed the Glass On Camera face.
The "Is the Mic Working" Double Chin face.
And finally, the I Really Really REALLY Love Brownies face.
My modeling career may still be on hold, but my classes are LIVE today! Jump over to Skillshare and get cooking with me!
I was hoping to follow the link to the cheese sauce recipe from the Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole. Instead I get an add for your videos. I'm all for videos when I'm not sure I'm doing something correctly, but having a casserole for which you no longer have a main ingredient recipe if frustrating! (My husband put something wet on my copy and wiped the ink off.) Please re-establish the link! We love this recipe.
Hi Diane, Could you please explain more about the problem you are having? If you scroll down to the recipe and click the link for the cheese sauce within the recipe card, it takes you to a page with the cheese sauce recipe on it. Here's the link it takes you to: https://www.darngoodveggies.com/healthy-vegan-chili-cheese-fries/
Hoping that clears up the problem! I would never want to keep you from the Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole!
