Craving some dairy free milk chocolate? Try this 2 ingredient recipe that creates a soft smooth truffle-like bar that melts in your mouth!
If you live the dairy free lifestyle you know that the chocolate isle is full of endless choices for delicious robust dark chocolate bars. This is a delicious place to live, and I will NEVER say no to dark chocolate (or any form of chocolate, really!), but... BUT what happens when you are craving a silky smooth, creamy, softer type of chocolate bar? A milk chocolate bar to be exact?
Crickets.
So let's take matters into our own hands! Life is too short not to eat milk chocolate!
This recipe almost feels like cheating. All we need are two ingredients - dark chocolate and coconut milk powder. The dark chocolate is the easiest way to get that chocolate flavor base and the coconut milk powder adds creamy richness without any noticeable coconut flavor.
It's a two ingredient wonder!

How to make dairy free milk chocolate bars:
We can almost skip this section today this recipe is so easy!
Start by adding your chopped chocolate to a bowl and microwaving it until it's melted. Stir in your coconut milk powder and pour it into chocolate bar molds (these are the ones I used!) which will make popping your bars out of the molds later a real breeze!
If you don't have these handy dandy molds, don't despair! Milk chocolate is still in your future! Just let the chocolate firm up in the bowl - this can take anywhere from several hours to overnight. Grab a spoon and scrape some of the chocolate out. Roll it into a ball and enjoy them as chocolate truffles!

Description
Craving some dairy free milk chocolate? Try this 2 ingredient recipe that creates a soft smooth truffle-like bar that melts in your mouth! All you need is some dark chocolate, coconut milk powder, and 10 minutes to make this dreamy dessert.
Ingredients
- 10 ounces dairy-free 72% (or less) dark chocolate, chopped
- ½ cup coconut milk powder
Instructions
- Add the dark chocolate into a glass microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until the chocolate is melted.
- Stir in the coconut milk powder and pour into chocolate bar shaped silicone molds. Let the chocolate harden at room temperature, remove from the molds and enjoy!
- If you don't have a mold, let harden in the bowl, scoop it out with a spoon and roll it into truffles!
Notes
This bar is sweet, but just slightly sweet. I love the creaminess mixed with the bitter dark chocolate. If you would like a sweeter more traditional milk chocolate taste, add in a few drops of stevia!
