This Iced Fresh Mint Mocha is made with real mint leaves and cacao powder! Packed with bright mint and deep chocolate flavor!
Who doesn't love a good iced coffee in the summer?!?!
Especially when it's this maple sweetened drink that gets infused with fresh mint leaves (real mint, guys!) and cacao powder, poured over ice, and topped with creamy almond milk.
It is like winter's peppermint mocha got all gussied up for spring and I am here for it!
How to make an Iced Fresh Mint Mocha:
Get ready to be sipping on your coffee in T minus 5 minutes because this mocha comes together in two shakes!
First, grab your french press. This coffee contraption makes this recipe a breeze! Add in your coffee grounds, cacao, and mint leaves to the press.
Add in some boiling water and let it brew. The cacao powder will deepen in chocolaty flavor. The mint leaves will infuse their cool flavor into the coffee. This is where the magic happens.
Pour this into two cups filled with ice and top with a splash of milk (or a few fat glugs if you like it uber creamy like me) and a dash of maple syrup (again, see last parenthesis here).
If you too love the coffee but it turns you into a jittery, little bit sweaty and agitated version of the energizer bunny (just me?), feel free to swap out regular for decaf (this decaf is my favorite!).
The one thing to keep? The mint leaves. Always keep the mint leaves. They add the freshest kiss of mint flavor that just cannot cannot be beat!
