This Turmeric Chai Tea Latte is an easy and nourishing morning beverage! It has a boost of caffeine from black tea, a creamy sweetness, health enhancing turmeric, and a perfectly balanced spice mix.
Hello Turmeric Chai Tea Latte. The star of my morning routine. The reason I crawl out from under my warm covers. The golden child in my cup.
If there is one thing we can be certain of, I have been obsessed with a morning routine recently. I have drank the Kool-ade telling me that a Miracle Morning Routine can set us up for success. I am not convinced that it has worked miracles, but I am sure that I am more productive and more focused when I get my morning right.
And the most beloved part of my morning routine is a warm latte. Somedays its Honey Coconut Matcha, others it's Herbal Coffee, or an instant superfood drink mix when I am on the go. Recently, it has been this Turmeric Chai Tea Latte. On repeat.
The many benefits of turmeric have been touted and proclaimed by nearly every health professional in the land. I bet you've heard it all before, and if you haven't, here's the short version: its super super healthy thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, and you should be eating/drinking it daily.
And may I suggest you do so by drinking this Turmeric Chai Tea Latte. It seems like the perfect fit... ?. Starting your morning with this warm and soothing drink will cover all your daily turmeric needs.
This latte also works as an afternoon pick-me-up. You get the benefits of turmeric, the flavor of sweet chai, and a boost of energy from the black tea without the full-on jolt from coffee, that wimps like me just can't handle. I need a slow and steady form of caffeine in the afternoon. Just enough to power me through the day and then set me back down nice and gently afterwards.
But, for those of you that LOVE coffee and the caffeine power-surge it gives, I have one thing to say to you: no latte drinker left behind! Make your latte according to the directions, and then add in a shot of espresso or a few ounces of strongly brewed coffee for a Dirty Turmeric Chai Tea Latte.

So Glad I have found your fantastic recipes,
Thankyou for your passion and creativity both developing and presenting them, I was feeling blah about healthy food but you have inspired me and I feel enthusiastic again!
I know it was just an oversite, (forgive me) leaving off the Anti bit in the info about tumeric being an anti inflammatory. Very Important, because it works to reduce inflammation in the body. Thanks so much.

Hi Lilliana!I am so glad you are enjoying the recipes! And thank you for catching my mistake! I really appreciate that you took the time to let me know :)
Hello Laurel
Can you tell us the type of coconut milk you're using in this recipe? It's typically got a decent amount of Saturated Fat yet this recipe shows it only has 2 grams for a cup and a half. I haven't seen any coconut milk that low but I'm interested in learning more
Hi Daneka, Looking into this, I think it has to be an error. I just updated the nutrition facts to use So Delicious Unsweetened Coconut Milk. So sorry for the typo and confusion!
Can you use a different milk alternative such as oat?
Absolutely!
