It's official. Chai and I are going steady again.
This sweet and spicy drink, which for me, is surprisingly easy to overlook on the coffee shop menu, is back in a big way. And as always, I regret every single day I went without one.
This Chill Chai Latte is perfectly spiced with the chai trifecta of cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger. The cinnamon is warm, the ginger is a bit spicy, and the cardamom adds floral complexity.
The spices get steeped with slightly nutty oolong tea before getting submerged in creamy steamed coconut milk sweetened with a dash of pure maple syrup.
Then, to put the chill into our chill chai latte, we turn to our pal, CBD.
What is CBD?
For me, CBD helps relieve stress and anxiety.
The holidays without a doubt are my favorite time of year! Seeing family, hosting friends, and cooking up a storm are what I live for.
But, honestly, this is usually the season where I feel the most stress, too. Anyone else?
This busy season of life and work usually add up to a mile long to-do list coupled with lots of social engagements. Having a lot to do and what feels like not enough time to to it causes me to feel a little off kilter. Even when I am looking forward to Every. Single. Item. on the to-do list, I still feel the stress.
Enter this CBD Chill Chai Latte. It's warm and spicy and comforting. And the CBD helps relieve stress giving me the ability to better focus on the task at hand - whether that's a quick power work session or a night in with friends.
When should you take CBD?
Anytime of day!
I prefer it first thing in the morning. I dissolve Weller CBD Drink Mix straight into my morning latte. It helps set the tone for a successful stress-free day.
But, my husband Reed prefers to have a warm CBD drink at night to unwind and prepare for sleep.
I have tried a lot of CBD products over the years and this new Barista Blend takes the cake. Unlike CBD tinctures (which can usually have an interesting flavor to put it kindly), this superfine powder dissolves into any drink with ease and without flavor.
Weller also has their 3rd party lab test results on their website loud and proud for everyone to see. This is a BIG reason I love the brand. In the age of wellness we are in, quality is incredibly important. Not all brands I have come across put in the work (and money) to have their products tested for purity and potency. I have confidence investing my money in Weller products because I know I am paying for a quality product that I can trust.
